The Schlossmediale International Festival of Early Music, New Music and Audiovisual Art was founded in 2012. The unique feature of the festival is that it brings together early and new music and art, thus engaging in a contemporary exploration of the historical setting and Werdenberg Castle.

Through the interplay of art forms, the festival offers an unconventional approach and an unusually direct dialogue with the artists. The festival will be held every two years from 2025.
